The day before this engagement session Joe and I were driving, and I whispered a little prayer for God to hold off on the rain long enough for us to get some outdoor photos. Call it what ever you wish…luck, chance or answer to prayer, but when we arrived at Marine Park it was raining and it stopped when we began to take pictures. Maybe next time I should add for the wind to not be as cold or blow very much, but I didn’t want to seem to demanding. We were so thrilled with the break in rain that we didn’t even care.

This couple is so much fun to work with!

The main reason we hoped for outdoor photos is because Adam proposed to Danielle at this park. We love incorporating locations that have history with the couple into the engagement session. It amazes us how much a place can change in just a few years that you might not be able to recognize it years from now. Adam and Danielle took us over to the same rock that they sat on the day he asked her to marry him. To you it may just be a picture of a rock but to them and us it now holds a little bit of history.

We were so excited to have a guest join them for a few pictures every now and then. Their son Kaden was such a great sport for us in spite of the terribly cold wind.

After the park we took a little time in down town Fairhaven were the telephone booth is located and beautiful brick walls. Joe and I love getting the chance to get to know our couples a little bit more during the engagement sessions. We can not wait for their wedding later this year.
